Zest Quest Asia 2019 & Bombay Afternoon Tea
It’s been a busy year so far for Hope & Glory and we’re only just getting started. Here’s a quick round up of what’s been happening and what is coming up!
Zest Quest Asia Podcast
We have been involved with the Zest Quest Asia competition for a few years now. This year it was our privilege to not only supply the tea at the finals of the competition, but also to sponsor the podcast covering the event. Teaming up with Gilly Smith and the delicious. magazine team, we went behind the scenes at this year’s final and chatted to the finalists about the competition so far.
Zest Quest Asia was launched by restaurateurs Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala in 2013 to promote the cuisines of Asia to UK resident catering students as an outlet for their culinary skills and a platform for a potential career in Asian cookery. As usual, the standard for the 2019 was incredibly high and there were some tough decisions to be made. In case you don’t know the result already, have a listen to the excellent podcast in full, below.
We would like to extend our thanks to all of the finalists and other partners involved in this year’s competition. 2020 will have a lot to live up to!
Bombay Afternoon Tea – 16th March at Cafe Spice Namaste
After the success of the first Bombay Afternoon Tea last November, we are once again teaming up with Cyrus and Pervin at Cafe Spice Namaste to treat your tastebuds once again on Saturday 16th March.
We will be featuring some of our finest teas at the event. These will include our fruity Red Velvet tisane and our award-winning English Breakfast and Masala Chai blends. These will be paired by the amazing food prepared by the esteemed Cyrus Todiwala and his highly skilled team. Tickets are still available but are very limited. This unique afternoon tea experience would make a perfect early Mother’s Day gift, so if you’re struggling to think of something this year, then simply click the links below to be taken to the booking page.
