At Hope & Glory we invite you to pause for a moment to enjoy an elegant brew or two...Time stands still @ 146 is a new, timeless tea experience at Hilton London Paddington, a stunning venture between one of London’s most historic hotels, luxury chocolatier Pierre Marcolini and Hope & Glory premium, organic teas and tisanes. Together, we’re restoring the glory of afternoon tea.
The new space, ‘Time Stops Here @ 146’ is an oasis in the middle of commuter hub Paddington. The new concept encourages guests to enter the elegant, floral inspired tea room and take a moment to ‘stop time’ and enjoy an indulgent moment away from their busy lifestyles.
The menu is a glorious collaboration of premium teas & tisanes from Hope & Glory®, sweet treats by Pierre Marcolini and Hilton London Paddington’s scones and savouries.
The finest teas & tisanes are served in bespoke bone china sourced from Sri Lanka, whilst the teas are handpicked and sustainably sourced from gardens personally selected from India, China, Japan, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and many more.
Praline Financier, Yuzu Melove Cake, Passion Fruit Macaron and Chocolate Ice Cream are some of the few masterpieces from Pierre Marcolini that adorn the top tier of the beautifully presented afternoon tea selection. Four types of scones – chocolate chip, blue cheese, fruit and plain – are served with traditional clotted cream, homemade jam and chutney, whilst savoury treats include smoked salmon swiss roll, mini beef steak pie, and harissa halloumi with honey mustard, beetroot bread.
For guests wanting to add something a little extra to their experience, tea-inspired cocktails by Hope & Glory and champagne by Pommery Royal Blue Champagne are available to order.
The bespoke ‘Time Stops Here @146’ afternoon tea is available seven days a week from 12pm to 6pm for £36 per person. Guests can add a glass of Pommery Royal Blue Champagne or cocktail for £46 per person.
