Peach Velvet with Darjeeling | Tea Cocktail
This delicate cocktail enhances the natural peach and rose characteristics of our Hope & Glory second flush Darjeeling tea.
No rose tinted glasses needed after this tipple.
1 Hope & Glory Darjeeling teabag or 1 tsp Hope & Glory Darjeeling tea leaves
100ml (4oz) boiled water
75ml (3oz) gin
35ml (1.5oz) rose syrup
50ml (2oz) sparkling mineral water
INFUSE teabag in 100ml of boiled water for 5 minutes
REMOVE teabag, or strain if loose, refrigerate to cool
COMBINE cooled tea with gin and rose syrup
POUR over ice into 2 separate glasses
FINISH with 25ml of sparkling water in each glass. Garnish with a slice of peach or orange.
