Are You Ready For Your Tea-tox?

January 14, 2020

We thought we’d wait a couple of weeks into the new year to help you finalise your list of resolutions. Not only are we entering a new year, it’s the start of a new decade so you may be setting yourself some longer-term goals. Whether it’s hitting the gym more often or simply seeing more of your friends and family, it’s a great time of year to make changes to your lifestyle for your own health and wellbeing.

Given that we live, breathe (and drink) tea, it’s only natural that here at Hope & Glory, we hope that drinking more of our delicious blends is something you’re adding to your to-do list.

The one type of tea you’ll hear about more than any other when it comes to health and fitness is Green tea. It’s been recognised as one of the healthiest beverages on the planet – and who are we to argue? It’s full of antioxidants and other nutrients that have a positive, powerful effect on the body and mind. We’re not going to bore you with all the different active ingredients in green tea (Epigallocatechin Gallate, anyone?), but rest assured it packs a punch in more ways than one, improving your brain and body one cup at a time.

Until the end of January 2020, you can get our delicious Chaquoing Green tea at a special 20% reduction – 100 pyramid bags for a little over £25 or 500g (approx. 200 cups) of loose leaf for a little over £35.

If Green tea is not to your taste, we have many other blends in from our Nurturing and Wellbeing ranges also on sale until January 31st, 2020.
The benefits of peppermint tea are also impressive. It’s something of an all-rounder with stress and anxiety relief being one of its main plus-points. It’s also a great aid to sleep and can also help settle an upset stomach and promote digestion (particularly good for those still working their way through the festive treats).

We’re also pleased to feature one of our newest Green Tea blends in our January ‘Tea-tox’ sale – the Organic Relax tea. Since introducing this Green Tea blend back in the Autumn, it has become very popular with regular and new customers. It has been carefully blended for its delicate and nurturing tones and can be enjoyed (without milk) at any time of day – but we think it works best as a tea to be enjoyed at the end of the day

Another naturally caffeine-free tea is our Rooibos (Red Bush) from South Africa – directly sourced from the Cederburg Mountains. Intensely flavourful with a deep amber glow, this tisane looks as good as it tastes. Rooibos is considered a natural, healthy tisane acting as a soothing pick-me-up if you’re having a bad day

Everyone at the Hope & Glory team wishes you good luck with all your resolutions and a happy and prosperous 2020!
